Video: Experience the Beauty of Hawaii From Above

While TGR may be known for our love of winter, there’s a special place in our heart for the island of Hawaii. We’ve been traveling to this tropical gem for nearly a decade, each time falling more in love with the island’s raw beauty and vibrant culture. "Kauai shares a similar kind of kindred spirit as Jackson Hole in its remoteness and its rawness," shares TGR co-founder Steve Jones.

During the filming of Andy Irons: Kissed By God, we explored the area deeper—particularly from above. Thanks to our GSS C520 camera, we were able to capture a collection of stunning aerial footage from the island. Not everything we shot made the film's final cut, so instead of letting sit on the shelf, we compiled it into this final reel. Sit back and enjoy, it’s almost as good as being on the island itself.

Great article ... and fantastic clip.  I want to see this film!

And I was absolutely floored when I read Steve Jones quote that JH and Kauai share a kindred spirit.  My two favorite places in the US are ... JH and Kauai!  Right on!

I have never been there.  My fiancé and I thought about it for our honeymoon, but I own a tree removal company and we are just getting started.  After reading this post, I wish I would have just booked the trip there.

What a fantastic post! This is so chock full of useful information.
I can’t wait to dig deep and start utilizing the resources you have given me.
Thanks again for sharing Cyber Hunter PC

Bear Grylls Has A New Interactive Netflix Show

Remember Bear Grylls? The quirky British dude who managed to get himself in the worst possible situations in the backcountry…on purpose? I feel like I can speak for an entire generation when I say Man vs. Wild was certainly on top of my list of shows to watch in the mid-2000s. Video: Train Commuters Get Obliterated by Snow

What do you do when you're walking along the sidewalk and see a truck spraying water/slush heading towards you? Most people would step out of the way and avoid getting blasted by gross road-water. Apparently the folks standing along the tracks in this video aren't "most people" because they stood their ground in the face of an oncoming train spraying a whole lot of snow. Video: A Pack of Furries Invades Copper Mountain

What would you do if you saw a mob of skiers and boarders dressed in fur-suits heading your way? This slightly-disturbing thought experiment became a real consideration for visitors to Copper Mountain during a spring weekend last year during the annual Furry Ski Weekend. Clearly there's a bigger overlap between snowsports-enthusiasts and furries than one might have expected, because the video makes it clear that turnout was high.   Related: The Most Iconic Terrain Parks on the Ikon Pass If
