Lyon Farrell grew up in Maui, Hawaii, so how did he go about this professional snowboarding business? Farrell spent many his summers as a kid snowboarding in the southern hemisphere. He says, "There's something about snowboarding that gives me this feeling of joy and pure happiness. I like finding things that remind me of surfing and skating and I haven't found that with any other activity."
