There are few–if any–snowboarders alive who have had the same level of influence on the sport as Terje Haakonsen.
The Norwegian master helped push the technical progression of the sport as much as any figure over the past three decades, all while never losing touch with snowboarding's rebellious roots.
Haakonsen still throws down at the ripe old age of 42, as evidenced by this follow cam footage of him boosting through the Banked Air finals course in Ischgl, Austria. Long live the simple pleasure of sessioning a banked slalom course, and long live Terje–may he ride forever.
