This will hands down be the most inspiring video of your day. Like all skiers, Tony Schmiesing dreams of fresh pow, big lines, and AK heli trips. He spends his winters chasing snow and skiing with his friend and instructor, Brian. Yet, Tony does it all without the use of his arms–or his legs.

Tackling seemingly insurmountable challenges with an unbreakable spirit, he has become the first quadriplegic to heliski in AK. With the help of a Winter Empowerment grant from the High Fives Foundation and a team of incredible friends, Tony made the pilgrimage up to Cordova in the Spring of 2014. Skiing, side by side (or front to back) with Brian, they were able to share their first, historic, turns in mecca.
