Sammy Carlson is a prime example of an on-piste competition skier who has made the transition to an off-piste film skier. This video, shot at Mustang Powder Cat Skiing in BC's Monashee Mountains, shows that he has gone just about as far as one possibly can from the groomed and icy slopes on which he used to compete. In the years since his season-ending crash at the 2016 X Games in Aspen he has worked on several film segments, including The Sammy C Project by TGR.
