Sometimes inflating your travel stand-up paddleboard might require a little bit more energy than you're willing to exert before a SUP excursion, especially when you're going to use that energy to actually paddle the board itself. If that's the case, the SipaBoard–a motor-propelled and self-inflating paddleboard–solves your problems.
This board has a built-in, emissions-free jet propulsion engine that is extra quiet, just in case you're embarrassed to be on jet-propelled board while your friends are driven along by pure, human-powered, god-given arm paddling.

That being said, the board does include some pretty impressive specs on top of being self-inflatable. The intake hole of the motor is protected by mesh so fingers, fish, and other debris are kept safe from the propellor. The SipaPaddle is where the controls for the motor are located. If the paddle ever hits the water or is separated from the motor, the communication will be immediately interrupted so that you're never separated from the board.
Now, as if those things weren't enough, the board is equipped with a Bluetooth 4.0 chip to connect with your iPhone or Android in order to track remaining battery power, distance, and route. So when you're on a remote, mountain lake, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can still humblebrag your distance-via-SUP on every social media outlet. For the people, of course.
The Early Bird special on the SipaBoard Kickstarter site is going for $1,290, which includes the board, paddle, inflating hose, and the charging cable. If you're not willing to drop that much on the entire rig, tee shirts are going for 20 bucks.
