
WTB's new PadLoc grips require you to cut off the last inch of your handlebars at an angle with a $20 tool, then slap on a grip that replaces that chopped-off piece of bar with a softer piece of thick rubber that is supposed to offer the outside edge of your hand, and your pinky, more comfort and padding from trail chunder. It's also supposed to eliminate the rare slipped grip.
Beyond the actual bikes, there were a ton of brands at Interbike hawking components and accesories–everything from goggles to carbon wheels to shark fin-shaped saddles to kneepads and dropper post.
