Potato, potato Cono. Nobody has touched the principal of the frozen assets so far. Only the proceeds. Are we making up headlines now?

But I deeply regret my support of the Iraq war, and ended up voting for Obama. GW Bush was the worst president ever and killed millions. Have we learnt anything? A million young men have died in Ukraine, the history of that area is one conflict after another, they are both corrupt countries, with a shared history that we have no place in. And what’s worse, if you do think you understand Ukraine, fly the flag, you know every country we’ve ever helped has been left high and dry before. Joe Biden was not a dumb man. He knew the risks, and stated them himself. He did not give them our most advanced weapons and put restrictions on what we did give them, he also, said day 1, no boots on ground, not ever, he knew. Im also the only person I know that supported Joe, and his restrictions. But you can’t win anything like that, so why even try? To degrade Russian war making capabilities at the EXPENSE of Ukraine. That’s is, and has been our official plan. There is a reason the EU and NATO never wanted them, and I’ll remind everyone this war started in 2014. It’s not coincidence people care now, it’s just more Trump Derrange Symdrome, and its put us closer to a war that no one can Imagine, an extinction event. I will never forget, or forgive the position we find ourselves in. This affects us all, it’s not a game, or politically correct exercise. I have watched the hate for one man, compromise all the values that my liberal friends staked their lives on. War, censorship, etc It’s all gone, they’re now the neocons, they really are, by every definition and I hope they all take a good look in the mirror.
If we could unfriend you we would.

Your thesis is basically, I have been wrong all along, as I fell for the Republican narrative. But now, I’m right because I believe the Republican narrative (that any reasonably intelligent person could see is built on complete lies and bullshit). You’re a stupid, small man, who has reprehensible morals. I doubt you have any real friends, probably just some people who pity you.

JFC. Revoking the legal status of 240,000 Ukrainians in the US who fled the war? Just malice all the way down with these fuckers.

    I give up.

We should send them our gear, money, bullets, planes, possibly our soldiers, but let the well to Ukrainians stay in the Miami Beach and skip out in zelenskys conscription?

    Am I reading that right?

You answered your own question i.e. who wants to defend "anyway,." Defending Taiwan through deterrence, peace through strength and alliances, is how you prevent a catastrophe. The stupidity of letting Putin march through Europe and Xi sail through Pacific island chains is a recipe for WWIII

We wish you would give up, but your stupidity seems limitless.

Wait til your son gets conscripted. Hey, he throws a hard fastball, we’ll get him right to the front lines to start tossing grenades. Best of luck to him.

Sending 240,000 Ukrainian women and children refugees is also meant to destabilize Ukraine. The part Cono conveniently leaves out is Ukrainian men stayed to focus on fighting Putin's unprovoked invasion knowing their families who fled Russian occupation were safe. It's absolute evil sadism.

Zelensky and Trump are, famously, on extremely friendly terms. All Zelensky had to do was ask for a quarter million Ukrainians to be sent home and Trump says - yes sir!

I am really starting to think he believes that the world can be handily carved up in to 3 spheres on influence owned by either the US, Russia, or China. Meanwhile, Thiel is maneuvering us closer to his masturbatory ayn rand fantasy of Network States

BRUSSELS - The European Union, an entity that has long cast itself as a peace and trade project, is in crisis talks Thursday focused on defending itself. Along with the specter of a belligerent Moscow, President Donald Trump’s sudden redrawing of alliances and withdrawal of support for Ukraine are driving Europeans to fast-track plans to bolster their militaries, upgrade their arsenals - and, ultimately, to curb their dependence on the United States. Among the E.U. leaders meeting in Brussels, there’s a rallying cry that Europe needs to embark on a military buildup in a way it hasn’t in decades. The E.U.’s executive branch has unveiled a proposal to unlock hundreds of billions in extra defense spending in the coming years, while Germany is starting a big shift away from controls limiting borrowing. Meanwhile, France is floating the possibility of expanding its nuclear deterrent to cover its European allies.

It seems like EU countries already have effective weapons if they can scale.

A peace race via an arms race via a collapse of law and order. Makes total sense.

An aircraft carrier group gave the US, and still does in most places, some of our biggest influence. I’m sure there are some in here more knowledgable than I, but I don’t see how a couple carrier groups would survive anywhere near the straights of,Taiwan for long. Yes, we’d do damage, and Guam etc.but china is a massive country, they would never bend short of nukes.

I always ask common Chinese people around me, respectfully, and even here, it’s not even a question. We’re not changing their minds.

In the nuclear age, all these fucking chambelein cliches are beyond stupid.

Discouraged or won. The United States of America shamefully removed the goalie. This isn't fucking hockey.

Apparently Cono doesn&#39;t realize the Republic of China came into being at the outset the nuclear age, or that the Chinese have had nukes for sixty years. They have never liked Taiwan&#39;s independence, but they have not liked the idea of risking war over it more.</p>
