There are flakka certified chimp carriers. And, pro tip, always turn the Chimp face towards the enemy so you rage in his ear and direct the anger!

    Depends on your perspective
This was part of a plan for a video on ski-dad parenting. In one scene, the baby would fall from the chair, then get skied over while laying in the snow.

In another scene, mom and dad would be fighting over the child and appendages would be ripped from child’s torso.

For you Mt Bachelor locals, Jacque was going to film

Sadly our Magnum Opus was scuttled when the lift op saw the doll in the chest carrier, and was not satisfied by my explanation that I was trying to understand how new mothers felt.

Hmmm, I guess I'm going to have to teach my chimp how to ski. Get him/her a nice harness and maybe put them through Avy SAR's training for the backcountry. Move over Avy dogs, there's a new player in town.

Driving my kid home from daycare yesterday afternoon, its pissing rain, dark and gray. Im driving up to a green light to turn right, and suddenly a very large lady on a bike, from the oncoming lane turns left across my front bumper nearly hitting me as i slammed on the brakes. She then yells at me, flips me off and starts riding in the righthand lane, not the separated bike lane as a show of dominance/entitlement?

Well, unbeknownst to her, when i slammed on my brakes to avoid hitting her, the brodozer cummings behind me had to slam on his brakes as well and if there is anything that diesel brodozers hate, its cyclists. So brodozer sees all this happen, guns it around me, pulls even with the fat, entitled cyclist, and then rolls coal on her for a solid 5 seconds. I am normally a real big hater of rolling coal, but if ever there was an instance for it, this was it. I was hoping she would look like a chimney sweep afterwards, but alas, she did not.

Anyone on a bike that flips off a driver is a candidate for a Darwin award, deserved or not. In this age it is an invitation to get fucked up.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Back in my earlier days, I would do this occasionally to idiot drivers that were clearly in the wrong. I stopped flipping the bird and cursing them out at the top of my lungs as I read more and more stories about road rage and the many bad outcomes for cyclists. Better to swallow your anger for idiot drivers and live to cycle another day.

Also to californiagrown's post, I just witnessed this on my way to lunch today. Idiot cyclist tried to cross a very major and busy intersection against the light. I almost rear ended the car in front of me.

It also fucks it up for the rest of us cyclists who wanna live without the rage of drivers being harassed and flipped off. That guy in the video in Minneapolis, while funny, is really just a douche looking for Youtube views and likes and making cyclists look like universal dickheads.

I used to flip people off and rage out, and while it was usually justified, it certainly doesn't improve any outcome on any metric.

We are in silly season right now. As it turns to fall and shit weather for the next 8 months, every moron with an ebike they bought this summer but hardly rode tries to squeeze in one last ride for the year on the final few sunny days, and the newbie bike commuters who picked it up over the summer havent yet figured out to check the weather to see its gonna piss rain and that, oh shit, its getting dark earlier so you might need bike lights for your ride home, etc.

Yep. These ebike riders aren't very accomplished at cycling. And they can't handle the speeds of an ebike. Still, when I ride up on one, I like to suck wheel for a bit to catch a free ride. I had one ebike rider have the nerve to ask me to pull through! WTF? I just told him, you're the one with the battery.

Seems to me he's having a great time calling out the bullshit of shitty drivers and not at all miserable doing it.

Sure, he's a Grade AAA asshole, but after a few dozen videos he's kinda growing on me. The insanely horrible drum and bass music he blasts at all times is quite funny too.

Here's a guy that felt so exalted after yelling at a girl on a bicycle trying to get to work, that he posted his triumphant diatribe online.
You could surmise that he drove right off her tire and probably honked as well. But you know he means well, because he cautioned her to wear a helmet.

Oh for shit's sake. I hate people parking in the bike lane as much as anyone, but yelling at a guy delivering oxygen when there's no where else to park on that side of the road, like wise the UPS driver just trying to make his quota? WTF. And the asshole pulled an illegal u turn to get to the UPS driver. And obstructed traffic for a lot longer arguing with the guy than the guy did delivering the package. There's a certain kind of person who gets justifiably angry at dangerous, rude, or illegal behavior. There's a different kind of person who seeks such behavior, delights in it, and whose only strong emotion is self righteous indignation. Guess which one our friend is. For a superior emotional experience I would suggest to him love, or at least furious masturbation.

Yeah getting on a guy for delivering medical equipment (an assumption on my part but there is a 99% likelihood there) seems a bit much.

The cyclist at this point needs to get his ass beat. He’s a drama queen YouTuber looking for views/likes.

Yep. Listening to his angry, quavering voice makes it clear to me he is one unhappy, miserable son of a bitch.

Might not be apparent to a like-minded individual though.

I read somewhere (probably in this thread) that he's got a traumatic brain injury and that could explain his mindset/behaviour.

Bugs me, because I ride every damn day, try to avoid pavement, but guys like this don't exactly improve our position in the public.

Already happened once, doesn't seem to have affected his behavior one bit.

IIRC he went on his never-ending rampage after being hit by cars multiple times, so I wouldn't be surprised if one of those collisions involved a head injury.

He's not a drama queen, he's actively looking for fights. He is completely unreasonable and over the top, but in some cases he's doing the lords work. People parking in the bike lane is annoying.

A head injury isn't necessarily the reason - there is just people different than you and me out there, and there are billions of them.

I started using the thumbs down instead of flipping the middle finger. I found the thumbs down is more like telling the driver of the car "I'm disappointed in your decision making" instead of the middle finger being more like "fuck you" and pissing them off in turn.

That being said, I've dialed back my engagement with motorists while biking around the city, it's not worth it and you never know how people are gunna react these days.
