So yeah Tri-Ungulate! Screw you guys, I'm going to Rueras! Are ya with me! Let's do this!!

Damn mate, hadn't planned on that. I think I'm at venduls mar 25 to 31. Then ski st Moritz April 1. Family hang in Mun till Apr 7, then ski Arolla Apr 8 to 11. Love to ski Klosters one day fo sho!
And full disclosure, if I cancelled my trip not only would that involve work, I'd have to fork over some cancellation charges I'm sure (not looking at you Vendul), my fam in Munchin would disown me, and my Arolla possie would be angry.

    I'm pretty stoked btw.

You weren't asking me, but I was planning to be in Klosters 22 March - 26 March (skiing K 23, 24, 25 and 26) then going to Vendul's. I'm still on the fence about the whole trip and especially the Klosters part because currently it's looking warmer than Sedrun...but, are you around during those dates? I think I recall you had some sort of work commitment around that timeframe?

I couldn't pull the trigger this year, and it looks like that was perhaps good fortune after all. But I'm gonna try like hell to pull the trigger next year!

I may have. I had some big shit on my plate (separation and then divorce) that I was hopeful would resolve in time for me to get my shit together. It didn't. Divorce wasn't final until 5 weeks ago. Next year should be a better chance, but even then, sometimes life fucks with you. I have a kid which is always a wildcard, and I have a job that offers me a lot of flexibility, except when it doesn't. But I'm going to try.

Sorry, didn't mean to be snarky; it'll be good to ski with you, and enjoy vendul's consummate hospitality, someday -- maybe next year.

    What Danno said.

I hope to go every year. Have kids, one in college. Live a long way from an international airport. Not a dentist. Lots of stars need to align.

Buster always answers my questions without bias even though I haven't been able to make it happen. That dude is a gift, and a Euro Yoda.

Next year we will probably be on Epic because my stepson is living in Gunnison. So that star is in line. Probably still won't happen but...

Let's look at the bright side....As many have cancelled and I had the Lodge booked up for the BBi, I'll have all the time in the world to take you anywhere you want, so if one of you wanted to sky Kloster or Laax or Arosa or name it.... I'll be designated driver.

West is going to be a big slush, and is not so easily accessible from here.

I should be able to go for a ski the early part of that. Work thing is from 26ish.

ha, I might make this my sig line.

My dates above are actually for this year, although I'm pretty likely to cancel given conditions, but I am hanging tight for a couple of more days before making the final call. I intend to go in 2024 either way though. Hope you and daughter can make it too.

Bear in mind that the Klosters Gotschnabahn tram is down and may not run again this season.

Same here. My (TGR lurker) BIL and I were booked to do this trip 3 years ago when the COVID clusterfuck hit (literally the day before we were scheduled to fly out). Thinking we might actually get our raincheck next year. Following this thread with great interest.

Carvehard is coming. :-) I'm in Chamonix now, and despite all bad predictions, it continues to exceed expectations. Powder today.

I'm gonna cancel hotel for Klosters and come directly to Mt Lodge, Sedrun for March 26. I have the reservation there until March 31. So I'll play it by ear and see what Vendul is able to do.

    See some of y'all soon!

It’s raining at 1500m but the best skiing is above Ruinettes at 2200m. Was the same yesterday. They will open the Funi up to 2700 even in avi 4 so we should get some good skiing later
