That's a good call, much in the same vein as Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2.

I'm going to throw out Pam Grier in Jackie Brown. Not really my cup o tea the way she might be for some guys, but damn good performance and a bad-ass character. Robert Forster kicks ass in that movie too, but of course this thread is about the ladies.

Jodie Foster in Silence of the Lambs.

Geena Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight.

I have a friend who looks just like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. I heard most women don't like being compared to others, so I wanna point it out but ain't gonna.

Sure, and obviously Jackie Brown pays homage to her previous roles somewhat... it's a great flick, a slow burn with a bunch of great chatty scenes. Kinda underrated IMO.

Bridgette Fonda in that movie is great too - small role as the hot surfer girlfriend, but funny as hell.

EDIT: Saw it was mentioned earlier but fuck it. It's worthy of two nominations.

You are all showing your age. This one thread has made it clear that TGR is the 50 plus crowd. I'm not far off that age so...

    Anyone see annihilation yet?
