You do understand that there is an ongoing investigation, don't you? I am no expert on criminal matters, but I don't expect the release of video until the investigation is complete and any security breaches that the video might expose are fixed.

Check video of SLC nurse incident. Video released to her lawyer and it hit the news. Investigation was 100% still in process, in fact the Police union tried to stop it. Video gets out all the time during investigations. I agree in Vegas there must be tons of this guy. Have to have him getting in and out of elevators, inside the elevator with his guns. Tons..

No, there is no discovery. No lawyer has a valid discovery request because nobody is charged with any crime (so there's no defendant who can force LEO to provide all evidence) and no civil lawsuit (if any has even been filed) has gotten to the point of discovery. There's a clear and prescribed timeline for civil actions, and your "day 2" is ignorant of how the law works (really truly not trying to be obnoxious, just stating fact). This is nothing like the SLC case, it's apples to orangutans.

So, "shit leaks" but this hasn't, but it's not a conspiracy it's just "odd". :shrug: I don't know what to tell you. I am sure that there is a ton of different video, I am sure most of it is not very exciting and each tidbit needs a shit ton of analysis to piece it all together. It does not surprise me that we haven't seen it, but then I haven't been looking either.

I think there is a general feeling that this all has been delayed.

I think there's been an increasing move to avoid showing footage of these events to avoid encouraging others and to make things easier for the community that went through it.
That's what happened with a shooting here in Seattle a few years ago. The school or police fought not to release footage until something like a year later

I think there are a lot of instances where details and videos should not be released to preserve the integrity of surveillance systems. If everybody know everything about how security systems operate they will be able to devise ways around those systems.
