Did Chad get any Roadrash on that slide? That last pic of him coming out of the boat is amazing, along with the rest of the pics, that is a great perspective how steep it is from the big boof through pinch. Imagine I'll only be taking pictures there if I ever make it back to MT.

Yeah, that was it. That's Sanford with the play by play. I am surprised my moaning isn't audible, since I was standing right there.
You can see how close the next drop is at the end, too. Gnarballs. Oh, and I make an appearance at :59, too.

Bad ass. When does the Big Timber run? (not trying to rub in the no-runoff thing, just wondering when the trip to Montana should start)

That was like May 13th last year....I don't think it will run that early this year. I think mid-June through late July would be the best time to plan a trip to Big T this year.

I have yet to do some white water yakalaking - so I was just wondering how many runs I would need to make before I would have the skills to do something like dat?

Since everyone seems to enjoy this thread, how about a few more pics?
Sanford in Fine Line (it's called that because there is a very narrow pocket that must be boofed into at the top unless you want a nosejob)
The Pinch actually has two pinches. The first is immediately below Triple Dipple.
Then, after gaining some serious velocity, the reason the rapid got it's name....
Sometimes, boats and people and paddles go through separately.
Nailing a sweet boof has to be one of the best feelings ever. It may even rival going into the white room while skiing.
How about bigass banking slides in vertical walled gorges?
Maybe this year I can get pictures of the other 80% of the rapids.

Bump yer bump.
That's a killer TR. Definitely right on the photogenic nature of that thing.
The pinch looks painful.
