    I disagree. These are the easiest way to get your kid in the BC without breaking the bank. There are VERY few options for kids. Between these for things with more vertical and 3 pin gear for more rolling terrain, it is a great option and have worked great for my kids. The problem with touring bindings is the lack of low DIN setting appropriate for kids. If its trekkers, or they dont get out to earn some turns and get hooked, I'll choose trekkers anytime.

    I've toured with friends and their 10yo kids were on touring bindings, the uphill is way better then trekkers, I felt the toes were way too sloppy and the bindings a little too high for a beginner to have a good time but that's just my experience
