Spam: Daron Rahlves Northern Chugach Photo in Powder

I know it's spam, but the shot Mark Fisher has in Powder this month from our Northern Chugach zone is nasty! These are the first shots to come out from the TGR Dream Factory collaboration with Silverton Mountain Guides last season in AK. Daron is a badass for sure.

Saw that - was my favorite photo in the issue by far. What an incredible line - I sure hope he stomped that.

That's an unreal shot. Amazing he's doing this stuff after a full and long ski racing career.

    so sick!

bummer that the paranoia of spam on the TGR forums has gotten to the point that posting a dope shot of someone shredding needs an apologetic preamble...

    That is pretty sick.

When you factor in being one of the best downhillers ever, and being one of the best big mountain skiers ever, Rahlves is on the shortlist of the best skiers to have stepped foot on earth.

I can't wait to see the movie version of this shot.

    Send it!

Skiing my entire life and into a long racing career has helped me with instincts to survive coming down the mtn. This entry onto what was a 3 foot wide spine where I touched for take off was pure luck. The transfer from skiers left above this frozen moment was the crux move and blind at that. I knew where I was going, but not exactly sure when to make the move. I love that! Taking a chance and dealing with the outcome. It always comes with surprises and this is one of them. Thanks for the support and enjoy the Dream Factory! Thanks to Brill at Silverton Mountain Guides for supporting us out there in the Northern Chugach kingdom.

The AK videos of Rahlves and the JH videos of Ligarre sold me on the 2012 192 Atlas. Serious gnar abounds with those guys. Great pics
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
