    DIN on these is 7-16

Wings look like the Marker variation but are longer

The toe height is from the top and stand height does not change with adjustment.

    Weight feels lighter than Duke

So how much are they and when can I pre-order one??

How about a maggot special 'test run' this season for cost? You can make that happen, right Mr. Rahlves?

I wonder if these are as good as the ones Salomon has been working on for the past 3 years? Sorry Rahlves, couldn't resist!

Unfortunately, totally new hole pattern everyone. 4 up front and 6 in the back. They do work real well though!

I'll take your $$ now on a preorder.

Test run? Come out to Tahoe, enter the 2012 Rahlves Banzai Tour, win your heat, beat D-Money in the finals...Then you can ask.

I don't understand 6 holes for the heel piece. Has 4 not been enough? I'd think they'd want to beef up the toe mount due to stresses encountered while touring...

    Maybe I'm missing something though.

looks great. Does the toe have more travel than the duke?

And anyone notice the "Yo Bitches..." on the autographed poster in the background? hahaha. awesome.

7 or 8 years ago I was a hard goods buyer for a shop attending a Salomon dealer event at Okemo. I was talking to the VP for product development (one of the Mikes, not Douglas). He asked me if I thought there was any market in the US for "randonee gear" like there was in Europe. He thought tele was too big here to make AT viable. I told him that I thought backcountry was the next real opportunity for market growth and innovation, because of the emotional connection people have to exploration and adventure. I told him it was my opinion that the first major manufacturer to bring a serious AT binding to market that had good downhill dynamics would change the game.

This shouldn't have been a novel concept, it was apparent on this forum long before that. In all fairness, maybe he wouldn't have asked the question if they didn't already have things in the works, but the lead time sure has been long...

If it's as well done as it needs to be, its about time! And D-dawg, nice to hear from you on here, how about more stoke? You've gotta have one hell of a photo collection...

Win the Atomic Tracker AT Binding!!!

The Atomic Tracker 16 AT Binding will only be available to a select few until fall of 2012. You could be the one lucky winner in the US to get a pair this season. Check this link and enter to win it w/ the '12-'13 Atlas Ski. low stack height, wide platform, 7-16DIN provides the performance downhill and the "hike and ride" mode makes it easy to switch up and cruise over terrain. Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow uh huh! http://www.atomicsnow.com/tracker GOOD LUCK!

Nice, D. And I'd definitely rather get the one with a color scheme that doesn't match the BBR.
