TGR/Powder maggots that have gone missing

The "bringing the funny" post made me realize that I haven't seen Buster Highmen around in a while. Hopefully he's just taking a bit of a hiatus. Don't recall seeing SuPu much either. Or Tyrone. Or...

This place sure has changed a lot...yet it remains similar to the way it once was in many respects.

    Who do you miss?

In your opinion, was(is) there a best time in the brief yet somewhat complex history of K2/Powder/TGR?

I miss armchair extreme. That boy would come from LA to the bird with every storm. he babied a couple of twisted kids at hood, then he took of to NYC and dissapeared years ago.

    Buster better not be gone.

Year 2 of powmag days were the best for me. It seemed more intimate back then, we were still getting to know one another - iceman thought I was a single mother in need of pampering and that was working well for me...

I hate all the Casey's that post here. They all suck.

Nice to see Odin back, but DINMS and MoE were entertaining.

People who have escaped the grips of this stupid place are the winners.

All three of those guys read the board pretty much every day but they don't have much to say.

I wish I was like that.

As Fred said, the main loss is Armchair, but that's been like four years now.

I could recite you a long list of people that have left (remember telepig?) that no one cares about, so I won't recite the list.

Pretty much everyone is still here but kinda stupified by the massive jongery.

Me, I just add to it.

    Truest thing you ever said.

I wish i could walk away but I feel like I'm somehow responsible for this mess so I stick around.

Either that or I just like it.

iceman is like a genie in a bottle. Just type his name and he shows up. Don't ever type it three times in a row unless you want an unexpected late night visitor.

There might be some truth to that, but then again the laughter(medicine) from this board might give several years back on the tail end.

The problem is not who has left, but the massive dilution of talent on this board.

Most threads and most posts are worthless stinking piles of crap. I can't believe what people post, thinking it is contributing to a thread or a discussion.

I wouldn't have even considered posting in a thread like this 3 or 4 years ago, in fear of the abuse I would take from phUnk. But, nowadays, even my shitty opinion is better than most of the other shitty opinions.

well, phUnk became a pussy somehow, you don't need to worry about him.

He was the smartest guy here, too.

    Present company excepted.

    Agreed on all counts.

Yet, oddly enough, I am still a little scared of him.

I think his scathing sense of humor left a mark.

    Damn straight.
I simply can't refute that. And that is why I am full time ski-bumming at the Village this winter!
