    Anyone use the software Argus?

I have an interview in the morning... looking to get as much information as possible to pretend I know how to use it.

Any links, know-how, or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Theres no way to pretend how to use argus. I had to pay a grand for a one day crash course before I started work. Its like excell in the respect that unless you know it well, it will take you forever to do the simplest shit. My advice would be forget about the job if they are looking to hire someone with experience. Plus, financial modeling sucks balls.

    Agreed.

You should still tell the guy that while you don't know how to use it, you're really eager to learn how. Also, the makers of Argus, The Realm, have a new software that's supposed to eventually replace argus. That's the best i can give you.

    I think it went ok?

He is definitely aware that I have no previous experience using Argus (or any other RE modeling software), but I tried my best to sell him on being a really fast learner and all that sort of thing.

My apostrophe key is broken, and it is making this post challenging and excessively formal.

I managed to download the trial from Realm and found a couple of PDFs with simple example office buildings. I think that helped a little bit. The position is buy side commercial RE for a small REIT in Denver. Denver is not (damn that apostrophe key) the best job market I have lived in, so I would really like to get into a shop where I can make a decent living.
