North Face sizing

I just bought a new North Face jacket from Backcountry Outlet. I ordered a large, because I wear a large. I'm 6'2" and ~190 lbs. So it gets here and i'm completely swimming in this thing. I seems super long. It goes down well below my ass. Do North Face sizes run huge or could this be a mislabel?

I have a large North Face shell and it fits me just a little baggy. I'm 6' 160 lbs. So at your size, I would think it a large would fit nicely or maybe a little snug. My jacket is about 3 or 4 years old. They might be making their jackets bigger now. Is it just too long? Maybe it is supposed to have a long cut.

I'm similar size 6'1", 195 lbs lean, and I tried on the Freethinker jacket about a month ago. I'm normally size large and the Freethinker fit really baggy in body and arms but from what I remember was probably too short in body and arms for my liking so not a great fit.

I am 6'3" 225lbs and honestly I always found their stuff to run small.....if I follow their sizing charts its always too tight...I will agree the arms seem long in most of the shells.

I am 6'2" 170 and have a large hard shell as well. It is a bit big but when layerd underneath for the coldest days I fits well and is not constraining. Most of my layers are L as well. I could fit in a med but would be a tight fit on cold days even if I had med layers. So for those days I just wear a L softshell/windproof fleece.
