and replace it with a stud for work, while completely schockered is not a good plan.... it involved channel lock pliers and a set of needle nose pliers.... discuss.

The solution is of course to shoot heroin right before the procedure.

Maybe in the future use the right type of ring for the right application???!!! You shouldn't have to use channel locks and pliers to get a nosering out. I seriously hope that a professional didn't put that in your nose.

Well I used to have 4gage hoops in my ear before I went to plugs and continued. Getting the ball out from between the loop was a major fucking process including the tools listed above. That's why I went with plugs from there on out for my ears.

PS... saliva piercings (i.e. tongue, libret, etc), make sure you take em out once and a while. Don't want to go into the ordeal it was for me to take my 6g out of my tongue upon request from johnny law. Let's just say, they kinda "seize" up and that just ain't good, or so the cops said...

I've had my fair share of piercings including larger than said guage in my left ear (with plug -- those holes seem to grow quicker than you want them to I actually quit wearing plugs because my whole stretched so quick I would loose them -- expensive problem) and multiple piercings where the sun doesn't shine (PA, Ampalang). I assume you wouldn't be sticking a "stud" in your nose (I'm assuming he means the side of his nose) unless it was a fairly small guage. I've never seen anyone put a "stud" in the septum (and I've had 8 guage there with the ball and ring) -- it seems a stud wouldn't stay in your septum very well. In any case... I've never seen anybody with a large guage in the side of thier nose -- maybe I'm wrong here but I've been getting pierced for a long time. When I got my tongue pierced the dentist took a picture of it to show to the dental association because he had never seen or heard of that before -- at the time places were just starting to pierce and I was surprised to find that anybody did professional piercing -- nobody I knew had ever heard of professional piercing.

I can see where you would need tools to take the ball out of a large guage (10 or lower?) but I just assume he meant the side of his nose and have never seen anyone put a hole there that is of any size.

This guy is an extreme take on the subject though. The person who did all of my piercings had a 0 in his libret and upper lip along with a 2 in his septum. I only let my ears get to 3/4" before I took them out. Like you, they fell out all the time and I lost one glass plug while poaching a hot tub. Didn't realize it until the morning and didn't feel like going into Jackson to try and find some emergency plugs so they have been out since. Been thinking about restrecthing them recently though.
