Got an Orbea Wild this summer. It's been great, but not for much longer: Ski season is getting real close!

Tour of less known riding spots in the Pinon juniper. Top contender would be the Flux Capacitor in the Electric Hills west of Montrose- hidden gem- super well built and relentlessly interesting. Also Vernal, Ridgway RAT, upper Phil's, and Boggy Draw.

Glad to hear you liked it! I think Ohmward Bound and Amp Ridge are my favorites at the system, though I haven't rode Amp Ridge since it got totally finished. As of this week, our grant-funded construction is complete, and the trail system is done minus some connectors and short DH trails that may be added eventually.

This goes for everyone, but feel free to hit me up if you're back in the area and would like a tour guide.

Oh excellent! Great job team. We will be back- east Montrose is on the migration path. They were working on the parking lot while we were there- fun to see so many mountain bikers.

I was hoping to ride Thunder Mountain today on my way home, but temps in the 30s and wind scared me off. Hit a quick ride at Applecross instead, the downhills are short but fun.

Nice! I have to say that the upper stuff is much better than the stuff I built. Those guys (Apex, Loam Improvement, Trail Provisions) had much better terrain with more vertical and good dirt for building in. If you didn't get up there make sure you do next time you roll through. Still, we did the best we could with what we were working with. The Clear Creek Canyon system was a gnarly build. I got my learn on how to build climbing turns in super steep terrain and manage material for them.

It looks like the trails there are starting to see some use. thanks for posting.

Cold and windy, but some really fun descending on open ridges on the fattys. Shoulder season has us doing bizarre things!

Go forth and ride, then bring back pics

Day trip to Moab to pick up shirts for the shop. Quick dog lap on Hawks Glide(climbed OG Porc climb). Then back up Porc/Lazy Man’s/Sandflats to Eagle Eye(and a little side trip out to the rim)

It’s half spike and fender season in the Pacific Northwet … thank goodness for trails that were armored and built to drain!

Hillbilly 2.6 front and rear. Necessary equipment on clay rich loam! (2.6 on 35mm rims to take the bite off the hardtail and get lower pressure, hardtail to not fuss about linkage bearings this time of year)
