Fun sport. Fucking workout, holy shit. More winded than ski touring for sure. No going down pics because too fun to stop and take pics.

Backyard laps w old xc racing buddies, one of which brought his drone

We do have nice views and sunsets on the East coast, they just require few hundred feet above tree line

    Apres ride beer and bandaids

Late night session contributed to forgetting clip-less riding shoes in the morning, well worn Vans do not make for high performance footwear. Especially thankful to guy in lot with extra pair of flats in his truck to save my ride!!

Great trails up in Redding PA, right across the street from the Pagoda

Mixed thoughts about this, but the trails we saw them on were pretty tame

We could use rain. But the dirt still holds moisture and the rocks aren't dusty yet

Nice. This year is one of the most prolific blooms I've seen, it's just nuts. And how about that griz lurking near the Ridge TH?! Saw this pic on FB.

great pics in the last couple weeks everyone.
I think that SchralpMacchio 1st shot could be a mag cover or I might make it my phone background pic (sorry Baxter, you might get bumped [emoji38])

I’ve seen a handful of locations claimed for that photo, so I’m not sure what to make of it. I don’t doubt there was a griz in the area, but everything I’ve heard is second or third-hand and none of it overlaps.

    Heh thanks!

Recognize the bike in that second shot? Guess it’s impossible to tell without the profile view …

I was telling my wife that at the end of this season, I really really want to have saved money to finally get her an upgrade, but she is totally unconcerned and still happy riding it! I gave her that bike 6 weeks before proposing to her mid-ride on Oregon’s famous McKenzie River Trail (at the Blue Pool for those who have been, bit of a cliche spot, but hey the MTB knee pads made it totally comfortable to do). Now we have two kids and can only ride together when she has a midweek day off while both kids are in daycare [emoji2957]

It’s funny how this pic could be anywhere at mid elevation in the inter mountain west
