I’ve gone on the record as Anti-Wood, but holy fuck that’s a beautiful example of wood done right. Jesus.

Yeah, I just was shown that trail in question a few weeks ago, and was amazed at how well built it was. There are also go arounds to the creek gaps for the old and cowardly like me.

Well, it's Red Mesa Season in New Mexico. Without a doubt, Stairway to Hell Loop is the bestest, jankiest trail I've ever ridden, both up and down.

The first clue? No, this is not a typo.

Yes, this is the line. Can you clean this? Me too. Can you clean one of these every 30' with 4-5 smaller moves in between?
Me neither. (Edit: Damn auto-rotate. Imagine climbing from left to right)

That's actually a great comparison. Both are super tech and chunky, up and down. Moore Fun is a little cleaner and well kept - similar tech but less jank.
Probably why Moore Fun is another of my favorites.

Had to get out and ride the new bike despite great skiing. First trail: Moore Fun. Couldn’t be happier with it so far

New Years Eve tradition ride for wife and I.
2024's crazy weather allowed rare end-of-year Santa Fe dry trails/50 degree riding.

Our local skiers would not be happy with a biker and especially a dog on the fresh surface.
