ID:	471037Got a lap with Cheeney down the new bike park trails in Durango. Grand opening tonight. Hundreds of people. Good times. Needs a bit of moisture, but is an amazing addition to the scene. Nice to have some big ramps in town.

My favorite thread on the whole internet. Here's a few snaps from further adventures in norcal. Jackson demo forest and the remote surprise of Paradise Royale:

Awesome, love PR. Did you guys get to ride Pacific Rim as well? It's newer but sees less use so it has the feel of an old backcountry trail.

Probably should have....we finished PR pretty early and laid around in the sun.

Shasta and Klamath Falls next. Might do a morning at Humboldt Redwoods State Park on the way. Got any recommendations?

I began to regret my choices right around that 2nd picture tonight. it was cold and rained on me real good and i was pretty far from town. Slightly cold fingers were about the worst of it though.

Short trail, but by far best dirt of the season! Had plans to do some ridge line roaming up high, but it was to blustery for that shit!

Congrats to East or Bust!! Having a great partner in crime makes life so great!!

    Yay, ride buddies!

Tahoe trails are nice right now. The usual moon dust is absent thanks to more moisture than usual over the summer.Name: 20230927_161732.jpeg

    Congrats!!!

MTB knee pads make getting on a knee super comfy, don’t they?

I speak from experience as a fellow trail proposer, lol!

Yeah if you do Humboldt Redwoods, ride the Look Prairie - Thornton loop. Fire roads up, then a long a ridge top and a fun singletrack descent with return through big redwoods along the bottom.

Shasta is pretty fun. There is a trail that drops in at the very upper hiker TH that's not on trailforks. You can see it on heat maps. The lower trails were kinda meh.

Whiskey Town by Redding is pretty good. But if you're limited on time, ride Ashland. The AMA shuttle should still be running. I rode Spence in Klamath but think I picked the wrong trails. Good climb up S Ridge but descent down Hooligan was just long and pretty boring.
