Raptor nesting issues if what I have heard is correct. Too bad, it really is incredible and the best way to access The Portal by far.

I thought it was big-horn sheep, but the biggest question I have with that is why the fuck do they have the jeep freeway running through goldbar then?

I thought it was Bighorn as well, though I've never seen any up there. Raptors would make more sense. Too bad either way, definitely one of the best trail combos in Moab IMO. Also the only way the Mag7 really makes any sense. It's just an easier shuttle from the TOP of Gemini Bridges and a nice warm up before the rim climbing.

Quick trail break on Shoreline with Springsproject this afternoon. Mostly primo conditions with a few sloppy puddles though. Things down low should be good by tomorrow.

Been a lot like that here lately, my favorite time of year. The days are long and the long hangin fruit is ripe.

That portal video is mind bending, I would not be long for this earth if I spent much time down there!

Try to brake with one finger. You'll end up handling your bike better.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Few pictures from the ride this weekend with folks, my buddy ended up cracking the entire rear chain stay to his FSR at the beginning of UPS. Hiked bike to Kokopelli's and took it the entire way down. He could ride it down hill but his bottom bracket was about 2" from the ground, made it interesting

Me, on my way down hazard

    Slickrock n' stuff

About to brake his bike... and now

    Kokopelli's cows

A lot of this on the uphill

Still found some interesting stuff on Koko's

It finally stopped raining/snowing in Austria, so I went to do a few laps at Leogang.

Made it back down to Virgin last weekend after several years away. Rode nearly all of Gooseberry, Little Creek, and squeezed in a run on Show Me The Money/Dig It/Grafton. Wish I still lived down there; Grafton could use a little more trail-building love. This is one of the first drops I ever did, brings back good memories.

Also, in case anyone is wondering, people are still camping around Crybaby, even though it's supposedly prohibited.

Was there last week for the first time. Gooseberry views were amazing and I would say that Grafton Mesa was my favorite riding in the area.

Put the Lyrik (dropped down to 145mm) on the Blur TRc. Take the Tapered Revelation/Sektor hybrid bastard child from the Blur TRc and put it on the hardtail.

Fuck! I thought I had a 44mm tapered/1.5 lower headset cup in the parts bin. Nope. Cane Creek conversion cup on order now...

The Lyrik is near a pound heavier, but only *slightly*stiffer, but has better feeling damping. I'm thinking I'll take the weight penalty. Now, if someone wants to buy me a tapered CSU for it to swap on, I'll take it!

Also have a Reverb Stealth due to arrive in the next few days. Warranty voiding to come soon.
That fork has got to weigh more than the frame, right?

Yes, Tuckerman, it's an EMBA trail in N Conway. Good trail. Some folks shuttle it. Personally, I think that's a bit gratuitous because the descent is not very steep. It has a pretty good length to it, though.
