Just got my certification letter saying I'm graduating dental school in a few days... Went out for a quick ride to Land's End.

My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

New red trail re-route in Ringwood, NJ. Loads of nice stonework.

The new Truckee pump track looked pretty sweet at its grand opening this weekend:

Spotted a few of these guys on the way home from the after work ride the other day. This one was the only one nice enough to stand still for me.

Lousy shot of someone heading into the Green Monster at Trumbull.

This drop has a fairly shitty approach, and a small landing area. It's very fun.

Straightforward gap. I'm a big chicken on this one - it's just outside my threshold when on the trailbike/not armored up, though the stupid trialsy ones with tricky approaches and shitty landings give me endless joy.

This one needs a little hopping once on the rock, to line things up, then wheelie off.

Lousy shot of one of the rollers.

Tried to get more cleavage in this one, but didn't quite manage.

    Up!

One of Trumbull's many dorps to falt.

The dude actually rode this out. A bit wobbly, but he made it. Popped his front end a bit further up and out than he intended.

    Most just roll it.

Earlier today, on some east coast rawks. The new Chromag did not disappont on the trialsy stuff. Then it began to rain, and made things interesting.

Nice, that I can pedal to this spot in 20 minutes. It's one of my favorite spots for rock play time.

First thing I said to lady while she was looking over my shoulder. Who cares I guess, but it makes it look to serious.... for me anyway.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I do not get this. too serious would be wearing a certain type of clothing to portray that your not serious, especially when that certain type gives you no competive advantage in what is a competion.

    really?

Sorry in advance for the shitty iPhone pics. Camera has shit the bed.

Ran into this moose family up on Empire Link up at PCMR yesterday. I thought they only gave birth one at a time, twins?

Then got up to the the top of Jacobs Ladder down in Draper today. First pic is Timp peeking up over the ridge, then Utah lake, then the valley where I came from.

Cool moose shot. We just saw a mama moose with 2 babies crossing the road outside of Nederland, CO late the other night and were surprised seeing the twins as well.

WOOT! WOOT! Good to see you back in the saddle. I've got AM's off. Hit me up if you want to hit the trails in the mornings.

I wonder if this is the same moose that gave birth on John's trail last year. I thought it was weird that she already had a fairly young calf.

Last weekend was the Canaan Valley MTB Fest, a low key affair but nicely attended. Rode and partied for three days straight on day four we do some of this.
