EC First Snow: 8.19.07
It snowed up on the Presidential peaks last night/this morning. Sweet.
People shooting ski areas should be sued.

was at 3800? or so feet on jefferson last night, in the 30's but no snow there. Was good to feel the cold again!

A red leaf. Actually, a few red leaves. And they were on the ground.

yeah its too bad your rowing thing was too important and you had to miss this...
(october 28th 2005, first tracks in tuckermans for the season)
i hope we can beat our PB of october 21 for first tracks this year though
edit: is the new snow slidable in any form? i might have to take off work tomorrow

Awesome. Was doing some hiking in the dacks all last week and felt some high 30's - no snow though. It was great to feel some cool air in the lungs finally..

Wow...very good sign. Thanks JMO. This cold weather really has me jonesin'. I put the heat on in my car for the first time this morning, I have a broken window and it was 43 on my way to work. I'm ready!
