    EC First Snow: 8.19.07

It snowed up on the Presidential peaks last night/this morning. Sweet.

    Soon.

    Not soon enough.

    Soon.

    Not soon enough.

So if this coolness holds it should be time for some nice foliage rides before Labor Day up there.

you know what I saw yesterday in Mohonk?

A red leaf. Actually, a few red leaves. And they were on the ground.
    I wish I took a picture..

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
