So TGR forums have 10,000 'members', how many of them actually post?

Not many. But it's hard to read on this graph because of those 3000+ post freaks . With the count on a log scale, it's a bit more legible:

So more than half of registered people haven't posted more than 5 times. About 10% haven't posted anything besides PMs.

This about sums it up. So, from the 57% majongrity, thank you for these great forums, and goodnight.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the silent majority for keeping their yaps shut and I would also suggest that more of you imitate them.

Must be summer. At the risk of self-incrimination, how many members have posted stoke? What is their average # of posts before first stoke post? What is the average ratio of stoke posts to total posts for those who have posted stoke? Is there any relation between # of posts and location, age, or gender?

Sorry, but it sounded like you needed something to do, have the time to do it, and well, inquiring minds want to know!

I second that. I'd be interested. Another interesting chart would be maybe the frequency of posting, or out of that 57% of 5 or lessers, when was the last time they posted or something to determine how many of the 57% are aliases or one time pseudonames.

I did a little research myself...

As you can see in the above charts, I have come to a conclusion.

Yep, I've got too much time on my hands... unfortunately it's not enough to sort out stoke from non-stoke. The only member info that's easy to find is here, so that's what I used. As the saying goes, you manage what you measure.

What I thought was a comment on the number of lurkers and geartrolls was reposted as a postwhore chart, that's funny. :P
