Works fine for me. Could be because you are spelling our name wrong.

could be... but I don't put much faith in my spellin abilities. Must have had somethin to do with having to take nothin but english classes my last semester of high school just to get out... that kind of thing'll stay with you for your lifetime, ya know?

In one of my "help computer" threads from awhile back I believe we covered this and fixed it.

and in particular, this information from this guy.

If you install the K-Lite codec pack, and then run the "Codec Tweak Tool"

Start > Programs > K-Lite Codec Pack > Configuration > Codec Tweak Tool

Then check the box next to [Registry] Fix non-working system sound

It should fix the problem (Did for me)

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm

Make sure to download the full version.
Even tho I downloaded the full version, I only installed the Codec Tweak Tool and ran as above.

NO CHANGE. everything is still the same.

    Update for solution

Finally found a fix way down in adobe's forum.

This thread: Going Crazy: Why No Sound w. Flash 9 in some but not all sites w/ embedded video?

Go to a page with a Flash video on it.
Click on the video to activate Flash, then right click on it to bring up the Flash menu.
Click on "Settings", then click the "Advanced..." button.
This should open a new browser window with the Flash Player Settings Manager.

Look on the left side, under "Table of Contents" and "Flash Player Help", for "Global Storage Settings Panel"
Click the "Global Storage Settings Panel" link. This will load the panel on the right side in a Flash object.
You will find that the "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer" box is unchecked.
    Check that box!!!

After the box is checked, it should save the setting right away, but I had a little trouble getting it to save the setting. I had to close all open Internet Explorer windows and go back and check the box several times, but finally it saved the setting. Once it did, I had audio in my embedded YouTube videos again.
    ......

Still no answer for why II
