You appear to have a somewhat mistaken impression of Dylan's more recent (say, last ten years) shows. He's got a super tight band, rocks out hard and generally gets it done bigtime. I'd go for sure if he was coming anywhere close by at all.

Heh. Let's just agree to disagree on this one, Ice. I'm sure there are quite a few performers that I like that you cannot stomach either.

I'm sure you're right, I'm just saying that the shows are nothing like you might imagine.

werd. I saw him a few years ago just to see him for the first time before his and mine demise, but was very pleasantly surprised. He has a great fucking band. And he sounds great.

IMO, Dylan is coming out of a long slump...as far as his live performances. I've seen quite a few Dylan shows spanning over about 20 years all ove the counrty. He has had some shitty years! This one ain't gonna be one of those!

No Montana!?! That Sucks! The best concert of my life was Dylan at Big Sky in summer of '03.

I thought he killed it at Red Rocks last Thursday. His band is fucking tight and his vocals were right on the money (even though they drop one octave/year).

Anybody know if he played the same setlist on Friday or did he switch it up?

Was he playing that big keyboard setup this time?

Yeah, people don't believe me, but the voice is great these days. Sounds like the old bluesman he is.
