I've skied there a bunch a while ago, definAtely a pleasant surprise, even the time in marginal conditions. Most of the times I went, there was lots of pow.

The surprising thing about Bailey is how much steeps they've got, really quite a bit. And a lot of acreage with exposures in every direction.

Think Bachelor with steeps. And the foks who run it are hardcore skiers: Oz and Mark.

Go, it's worth it, especially the backwater old WPA lodge, built with socialist intent in the 30s.

The entire Oregon feature in Powder 2 years ago was shot at Bailey in just one day of cat skiing. The place is rad.

Gone a bunch of times, and Bailey has always delivered!

Bailey has much better terrain than most cat operations, and the snow is usually amazing. Stay at least a couple of days to make it worth it, cause its a long drive from anywhere.

Would you recommend Bailey for an end of this December trip? Or should I head to the Great White North? I'm booking a snowcat trip for my 40th b-day, but just can't decide where....

    Gracias.
