Besides the comet that killed the dinosaurs nothing has destroyed a species faster than entitled white people.-ajp
I was driving on 9-A and saw the new goodwill next to princeton ski shop as well. score! gonna be stopping there soon.
P.S. Princeton is your store?
Don't be hating on Goodwill, young rich one. When I had all the money in the world in HS (no rent, no groceries, no bills, no car insurance, no health insurance, no cable, no internet...literally, etc.--all the money I earned from my jobs was "fun" money) I used to think a $50 shirt for $30 at the Gap was a great deal. Now, when I 'm at a thrift store and I used shirt is more than like $5, I'm like "DAMN!, $5 for this fucking shirt???!!!!" GW and similar stores have clothed and furnished me finely since 1998, and I'm proud to say I no longer shop at the Gap.
ROBOTS ARE EATING MY FACE.
I've got a good garage sale score... my 210cm K2 TNC Comps. The thing is, they were mine to begin with. I used to manage a ski shop in the late 90's and we sold used/consignment gear along with new stuff. I hadn't used my TNC's in a while and wanted some new gear, so I sold them for like 50 bucks to some dude that I knew probably didn't need that much ski. But he was trying to impress his wife or something, so he bought them. About 4 years later, the wife and I were at a garage sale a few streets over and I saw this guy had some skis. There they were, my old TNC's. And he was selling them for $5. I knew right away they were mine - same bindings, and a sticker right were I had left it. They looked like they hadn't even been skied on since I sold them. He obviously didn't know who I was, and was talking them up to me as an awesome ski (basically giving me the same pitch I gave him when I talked him into buying them for $50.) I acted like I didn't know much about them and got him to throw in a pair of poles with the skis for the $5. They are now back in my garage, and I basically made $45 for letting him store them in his garage for a few years.![]()

Two free pairs of old stockli asteriod 186s within a month. The old DP model, one was delaming, cost me a case of good booze to get it fixed (thanks lars), the sidewalls are fucked, but they're still monsters!

This afternoon I scored a pair of 210 Atomic ARC 935 RS/G, but the best part is they are mounted w/ Solly 997 Equipes in yellow, barely a scratch on the bindings. $1.

I really got it for the kids to play on this summer. But I have to admit that I found it pretty challenging. The first few times I got on it I almost killed myself.
I've seen them advertised in the back of ski magazines??? The kids are enjoying it thus far- so am I. All for five bones.

Went to a garage sale this weekend with my brother.
I scored: a Sirius sportster boombox with all the attachments and the receiver. Turned it on to find that the account is still active (likely an annual renewal or lifetime membership!) for $40, and a pair of Scott Goggles, NIB for $5
My bro grabbed a NIB bathroom in wall fan for $8 and took it directly to Home Depot for a $90 in store credit.
You don't need pics of these deals.

Went skiing and on the way drove by a garage sale and saw some skis but kept going. On the way back home I stopped and got some nice K2 Fours, 183cms, bindings set for my boot size. $20. I've used them a few times and they're not bad at all.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!
on sat I scored a 5hp/24" wide 2-stage snowblower with electric start for $150 at an estate sale.
so be prepared CO - it isn't gonna snow at all this winter, sorry. My bad.

I am pretty tempted to get all Jim S with it (not in the john) but put on my snowblowing suit and drive around my driveway with it. Maybe I'll use it to blow a pile of leaves this fall.
