In my opinion the Titan and Zzeus are fairly narrow, but are kind of high volume over the instep. I've skied in them, and I had to buckle the 2nd buckle almost all the way to make contact with the top of my foot. When checking out boot fit, remember (that in my opinion) the thing that matters is the shell shape, not the liner. The liner will pack out and change, the shell wont. I always try on different shells with a pair of Intuitions I have. Of course they don't fit great in all different shells, but it helps to give you an idea of the shape of the boot. For instance, my Intuitions were molded in my Factors and I can tell you without a doubt that the Titan is much higher volume over the instep than the factors.

Zzeus and Radiums are wide shells (compared to alpine boots) with tight liners. There seems to be limit to how much the liner will stretch even with baking. I've heard of people removing some stitching to get enough room for there toes. I have 103mm wide feet and usually wher 27/27.5 shells, and the Zzeus shell is about perfect for me, but even after molding, the liners were clearly too tight, and would be unskiable. I put an old pair of Intuitions in, and, even before molding, the boots felt pretty darn good.

My take is that there is currently no such thing as an AT boot for skinny feet. Scarpas are medium-wide, but the highest volume (very very high volume, especially above the toes in Spirits, and Tornados, I hear F1 and F3 are smaller). Radium is the widest, but the lowest volume. Zzeus is just a little thinner than Radium, but with higher volume. Factors are just a touch smaller than Zzeuses in all dimensions, except the heel which is significantly skinnier. Doing a shell fit (on top of a footbed), my feet touch the sides of the Factors and Scarpas. The Zzeuses give me about a mm of wiggle, and the Radiums a bit more.

Perhaps the Virus or the impending Salomon offering will be narrower.

Here is Lou Dawson's chart for AT boot dimensions which, unfortunately, is missing Radiums and doesn't always look at the same shell size.

i think that's what i experienced yesterday. got into a 26 Titan. it was tight on my front toes, even when flexing forward. yet when i removed the liner and did a shell fit i had the 1-finger width (maybe a little less, but not much) in the rear, so they were pretty spot on. but again, getting back into them with the liner, they were tight. interesting. i am intrigued by the Virus, since the last boot-fitting i had they picked a Krypton as a possible good fit (the issues i had with that shell is it seemed to pull and put extra stress on the area on the backside above my heel...not sure what that major tendon is called). and aren't the Salomons not due until 2011?

I have also been really hopeful about the Viruses, but I keep hearing some somewhat discouraging reports. One friend told me they were just as high volume as Scarpa. Elsewhere I read ther as stiff as Adrenalines. Not quite as low volume and stiff as I hoped I would hear...
