pulse rate question

Dear Doctors,

Not really gimpy.... But, for some reason it seemed like my heart was beating pretty fast, so I measured my pulse rate and it was 114. Is this something I should be worried about? Kind of freaky because I'm just sitting and doing nothing at the moment.

And yes, my math is correct, plus I measured more than once and no, I'm not watching porn or anything remotely interesting.

normal is under 70. for a youngish maggot in shape , maybe 50+- was it irregular?

No medications, but I do have the beginings of a cold. Plus I rode bike with someone much stronger than me today, but that was a few hours ago...

Maybe I just figured out some kind of crazy new sedentary excersize routine. I figured it wasn't normal, so thanks for the confirmation, I'll have to get checked out if it continues. If I pop, I'll be sure to post a TR.
