my girlfriends 14 year old neice has just crashed her 4 wheeler......

accident info is still sketchy, she has strong vitals, but unconcious for over 2 hrs now...no obvious broken bones,or back neck injuries, but head injuries are apparent. unclear if she was wearing her helmet.....

she been airlifted to anchorage and just got out of a catscan...

she can use any vibes you can spare

ash has multiple skull fractures, and a blood clot in her brain...

3 hour surgery right now, then it will be days of watching and praying

please make sure your friends/ family wear helmets

thanks to all of you who care enough to care that this girl pulls through!!!!

i have been in frequent contact with my girlfriend at the hospital, and i will post every time i get some new info

she should be out of surgery soon, and after that , it sounds like it could be at least a few days before we will really know how she is going to be

everytime i talk to my girlfriend , i tell her (to tell the family,too), that this board has been sending positive vibes and love

i am just praying that she pulls through this and someday can return home and lead a rewarding life

her dad is a very close friend of mine , we are both on ems
i can only imagine the feelings in his heart as we attended to her prior to lifeflight

i am just hoping his daughter makes it through this
