    Hey SummitCo 1776

Got your PM, and my response wouldn't fit so here it is:

Um, the rest of you, please correct me if I'm wrong about the professor. Just going from my two trips up there. The second time I skied a more westerly aspect - there's a chute we wanted to ski, but it was getting rotty so we just did the adjacent glades.

I skied the professor last may, sweet corn time. Dunno about the others. The Professor has a rollover at the top with about 200 feet of fun pitched open vert, descending into flatter open vert. The rest is pretty mellow glades or you can come down a big couloir. But that top section initiates slides like a mofo - that's why cdot blasts it all the time. You gotta be very careful about when you ski it. We started from Loveland Pass. It was a really easy hike.

Nobody would ski with you? Do you mean from the forum or your friends in SC? I can tell you right now that nobody from the forum will ski backcountry with you until they know you and have skied with you in-area. There's a lot of trust that has to be established first.

I live in Blue River, but have hung out in CC a lot too. Got friends there and I've skied Sniktau, Torrey's, Mt Evans, the back side of SFB, and a couple different mountains up Dry Gulch.

    TY

    Thnx Shera!

I was speaking of people from SC... I wasn't on this board then... and I wasn't posting much on the other board... most of the people I knew in SC felt frightened of it and/or were too lazy to hike it when they could ski the easy part of Loveland Pass with a 5-10 minute tromp.

    Any comments on Torreys?

Ever hit the South face of that 12,762 (N 39° 39' 43.75" W -105° 54' 33.84") that's behind Idiot's Cornice (which is a blast in itself) off Loveland Pass (above Loveland Ski area, but the SC side of the peak) very steep with knife-esque ridge climb to reach it. It looks like it would be incredible in the spring.

What do you call the main West face of Grizzly? Always thought it was just Grizzly Face. I always understood Dave's Wave and Shit For Brains to be some of the narrow descents from the ridge just before the face.
It was so much fun in the corn... 40deg constant for like 1500' with no rolls or anything. It was just a place... not horribly challenging (except getting there with the gear I had then). Thoughts?

    50 degrees at the top!

btw 1776 - please know that she ra and her possie of posours have only skied the shots she refered to once or rarely.
but boy did they live TELL about it! and tell and tell.
They also tend to inflate the pitches, difficulty, etc. and have a propensity for getting lost.

Ok, for better or worse, I'm going to start standing up to you against all this BS. I hoped it would be left behind since the mass exodus to this forum, which had never been sh!t on by the likes of you and it's a sad day now. Thanks for bringing hate into a place that was free of it before.

    As for your lies,

We have never, ever, not once, been lost. One day we underestimated the time it would take to do two ascents and ended up skiing the shoulder of Torrey's rather than one of the upper couloirs we had planned. Mostly my bad because I am too slow to tolerate sometimes. But we were never lost. And it was an amazing day of skiing and hiking and exploring.

As for the reported pitch on the Leia section of the Skywalker Couloir - it came from a freaking well accepted mountaineering source. If you want to disagree with it, why don't you climb that wall of ice/snow with your slopemeter next spring? And then take it up with them instead of telling lies around here.

I am sick of your lies and twisted truths. And ashamed that you would post private emails on an internet forum. And happy to know that eventually everyone will see you for who you really are.

Just keep digging it deeper. Please.

This community is developing some interesting measures.

'Xover Feet' when calculating snow depths

'Duffy Degrees' when judging slope angle as in

"That looks a 50 degree shot."
    "Real degrees or Duffy degrees?"

    are there more?

Great that you're finally standing up.
Now why don't you and the dumbass stand up and apologize publicly for bad mouthing the wrong person off the board?
Oh, and thank you for bringing lameness into a place that always had little, but didn't need any more.

Give it a rest sister. Everyone here has been lost before. A little insecure are we?

You know, i once i skied something that was reported by a very repsected source of having a slope of 70 degrees. It wasn't, of course, and we certainly didn't go around spewing that it was 70 degrees. This is just another example of how naive you and the dumabass possy really are.

Given what you and dumbass did off line, it was definitely the lesser of two evils necessary to clear Pinner.

I really don't understand if your main purpose on this board is to annoy people (shera and iskibc for the main part) why the fuck do you stay around.....It's not like i contribute terribly much around here but you contribute absolutely nothing except bad karma and comebacks to everything anyone says. I've never seen anything good or stokeworthy come from you, and its obvious you are the one who is insecure, seeing how Shera is such a better skier than yourself. And in my opinion, some of the the best/most inspiring posts ive seen are the trip reports these guys put up....

    That is all

You are so full of it.

Who designated you the conscience around here?

All you ever did before was go gunning for Pinner. For months and months. Strange coincidence that an elaborate alias was set up across multiple forums that looked so much like him. Methinks you've been very clever indeed.

Matt, iskibc, me, and one other friend did discuss who the Ted Stryker alias could actually be. You have done us all wrong and we wanted to figure out who could be such a total jerkoff. Now you are trying to stand up for Pinner? When it was your actions that caused all this in the first place? What a psycho nutcase.

In any case when I took it up with Pinner, and he assured me that it wasn't him, I went back to my friends and told them so. It was done then, in my mind. Or I wanted it to be. But I guess you are never going to let this go - it's a lot of attention for you from a forum that wouldn't give you the time of day before.

Pinner is my friend and I hope that we are past this debacle you have caused. Matt hasn't met him yet and I really hope that good things are going to happen on that front, no thanks to you. Taking lessons from you on how to treat Pinner is beyond consideration. Setting up yet another alias and posting emails that Matt sent to Pinner was just another smoove move on your part. Good job there, ahole.

You sir, are no gentleman. docfuc indeed.

You've done a disservice to all of us that love skiing in Colorado. We had a chance to share an amazing summer - bomber snowpack, no afternoon thunderstorms, good friends that had the opportunity and motivation to go amazing places. And then the willingness to get pictures developed the same day and then stay up into the night to get the trip reports written for everyone to enjoy. But you had to make it ugly. I don't care how you choose to cloak it or deflect it, the truth is that you did wrong. A lot of wrong.

I'd be thinking twice about who needs to make public apologies. Although at this point I would have quite a bit of difficulty finding forgiveness. I can't speak for Matt and the others, but I would be suprised if they picked you up at the bottom of Loveland pass.

ps - to the rest of you guys: duffy degrees is good

That guy's posts aren't boring, they're Ted Stryker boring.

Remember that one chick who used to be so annoying? It's cool that she pulled such a huge SheRa.

That guy's fashion sense isn't just bad, it's Cletus bad.

Are you just keepin' it real, or are you truly Splatting it?

To set a few things straight -

A while ago I posted on PM for TS to email me. Immediately I get an email from Pinner, saying something to the effect that he was impressed I figured out it was him, and he mentioned something about whether I was going to "out" him. It's obvious now that he misunderstood the nature of my request and that he assumed I was only referring to some other alias that he was using.

Anyway, I told him no, I wasn't going to inflame it any further on PM and that I'd let it go if he did. Again, we were not on the same page as we both thought we were.

So a couple weeks go by without a peep from TS, until one day somebody told someone else that he heard I was talking sh!t about Pinner. Pinner evaluated this 3rd or 4th hand information and decided to believe it as absolute truth - someone told him I said X, Y and Z and it ticked him off. I may have said X(which was nothing harmful at all) but the Y and Z morphed out of nowhere the way rumors have a way of doing.

So I get an email from Pinner, oozing with anger. And on the same day TS reappears on the forum with a vengeance, and also on the same day I start getting emails from what appears to be a hastily created hotmail address. At the time I was just about to leave for a 2-3 week road trip and hadn't the time nor desire to pay much attention to this virtual bickering. Real life was calling and was far more worthy of attention.

Then after time had passed, it was brought to my attention that someone was posting, to PM, altered versions of private email exchanges I had with Pinner. SheRa called him on it, to which he denied and said that I must have forwarded them by mistake. So then I show her my outgoing messages (which are all automatically saved) and she sees that the only place those emails went was Pinner's address.

So Pinner initially misunderstood that I requested email from TS and responded as though it were him, complete with talk of being "outed". Then he didn't contemplate that the gossip he heard might not have much truth in it and consequently teamed up with Brett (aka ted stryker, aka hugeairdog, etc) and forwarded him my private emails, which wound up on a public forum. So who is it that needs to apologize to whom?

For things said and done privately, I'll talk about that with Pinner, privately, somehow. But I hesitate to send him email now- he violated a fundamental rule of trust that goes with sending and receiving private messages. Mine wound up in public, which will take a public apology to mend. Would Pinner be able to do that? Seems like he may have too much pride, but for the sake of common friends it would be the right thing to do.

TS is a troll but I must say I am suprised he is worst... it could be worse on an unmoderated forum... clearly TS's real person must actually care somewhat about the board... just a thought... then again I thought this was just about skiing around Loveland Pass

I'm up to here with the pride thing. We're just a bunch of skiers and that should be enough. I want you guys to get along and that's that. Screw TS and all the trouble he's caused. Please let it go and let's do a snowdance. Maybe Ullr can forgive us all...

Although I support and agree with what shera, duph, and the rest of the parties involved are saying, I think anything else said concerning this fiasco should be done in private messages. This matter is making both forums ugly. Brett and anyone else, if you have anything to say about this matter, send a PM, don't make it a public annoyance. The dead horse has been beaten too many times now.
I am done arguing about this issue publicly. There has been too many thread hijacks because of the bickering and arguing between TS, myself (yeah, I'll admit to some hijacking), and countless others.
