run/bike/run duathalons are fun....but KILL your legs.
with a traditional tri, at least for the first part you aren't using your legs too much. so they're fresh for the run (well, relatively speaking of course)
however with the duathlon, you're using your legs the entire time...by the time the second run comes up, you've already done one, plus the bike.
run/bike/runs can sneak up and kick your ass that way![]()
