I'll kick it off with a few pictures from Squaw on Saturday.

Here's the South Lake crew invading the base area:

The cool thing about this wasn't that it was huge: it was that everyone in our 10+ person group did it.

Last couple runs on the west face of KT. The next line we hit, right beside this, involved a rock garden, some trees, and a funky little chute that choked into a straightline to air to dogleg left. No pictures of that because I was too busy making sure I didn't fall and slide all the way down to the Headwall chair (you can see the bottom of it in the pic).

Saying goodbye, again at the top of West Face. It's about a 50 degree pitch at the top.

    West Shore from the top.

You could keep skiing and have to hike or you could traverse skiers left and avoid hiking

Flanker approaching a West Shore huck

Flanker landing his West Shore huck (too slow with the trigger finger to catch him in flight)

Sorry about the shitty quality of the photos... I had to reduce them to fit the board and I think I went a little overboard. PM me if you want the full sized version (2MB+) of any of these.

Damn that West Shore looks nice. I certainly didn't manage to find that while I was there on Feb 27th. Where is it at Kirkwood? Out past the Wave or way out past Palisades?

I have a pic of you cowboying out of that little chute. As it was taken from below, pointing up, the steepness is not evident and the photo does not even come close to doing the line justice. Once I scan it, I may post it, making sure that everyone keeps in mind the steepness apparent in that awesome shot of yours.

Thanks again for the tour, spats.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and I believe I offered to retire that),
