You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

If you take tomorrow off, take it off to meet some new people and hang with a big crew. The nighttime temps have been remaining pretty high so the conditions vary between soft wet snow, hardpack, some chalk and some 'corn'.

it is HOT up here right now.

Sure...look for a guy in a hooded sweatshirt, Oakley goggles, and a gorgeous tan....I'll be there...

I heard that section is really steep....straight down steep, with rocks and exposure...true billygoatin' style, and rivers of water where the snow is melting.....

I'm assuming you'll be there on Sat...good times!

Yup, spatulas are now my every day ski. The explosivs are in the possession of hardrider and i do not plan on replacing them.

666, i think everyone is going to the wood tomorrow. hardrider heard some rumor about half of alpine meadows being 'closed' because of the melt off or some such crap.

the lines in west shore, to the skiers left (skiers right of the tree line), above the traverse have been a blast. definitely going back there tomorrow.

I think that was a one day thing. Im pretty sure it was because of wet gloppy snow. But its all rumors and speculation anyway.

temps still high, it is only going to be more wet and gloppy tomorrow.

    Good times, man!

One of the funnier quotes I heard from, I think, hardrider after you guys left.

plenty o' snow at the wood. however, the snow melting off the rocks has made for some pretty interesting lines. oops has become all chocalate chips again.

Man, I can't possibly describe how Jones'd we were after last weekend. All the four of us could talk about as we drank and drove back to S.F. was how much bloody fun we had.
Everyday and everybody brought a unique aspect to the trip that unless you were there to experience it couldn't be explained or duplicated. If ever any of you make the trek up to Fernie, Castle, Banff, Kicking Horse, etc. let me know and I'll make bloody maggotwell sure that you are taken care of!

Git sum this weekend, post about it and help keep my soul fire burning!

All I can say is "The Tahoe Summit Rocked" - and the reason it rocked was because we got to ski with some crazy mofo maggots that rip sheit up. I had some much fun and wish we didn't have to go back (to the work world) but like Flanker said if you guys ever make a trip up here let us know and we'll try our best to give you a tour of the hills around here.

Keep the pics a coming ... stokage is on

    Thumbs up

Just had this thread passed on to me from flanker. Wow. It was a great time meeting/skiing/drinking with all of you. A big thanks to Tyrone for making this happen and to skier666/hardrider for the tours. Thanks to Splat for the hookups, lph for the beer/snoop story, kellie, punani, Arty, Bullet, Kush, Shera, Gin and the many others that we met. I'll echo what the others have already said, drop us a line if you are up in our neck of the woods.
...what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?

Today, secret location. Any one want to dawnpatrol for some pow before KW?

Most of what I've been doing has been video. That won't appear until sometime after the summit's conclusion.

I will definitely echo the sentiments about the radness of last weekend - definitely one of the best I've had in a long time and I had so much fun skiing with everybody and meeting the crazy out of towners! You Canadians definitely are crazy - that's all there is to it! Glad you made it home safely!

Nater, are those pictures from where I think they are? What time are you going tomorrow - I'm leaving here at 5:30ish, but man I wish I could dawn patrol with ya! Oh well, 10@10 will have to do!
