Hey Roxtar (lol- be prepared for a little backlash on that one) nice buggy!!! That's bad to the bone and would be perfect for our next escape down the Baja (I mention it a lot, but we really are looking to get some land around Gonzaga).

Also, good on you for seeing the market for Disco fab work; with so many of the old companies now done (SG, SD, NWP) you will certainly sell a few, especially racks. Is that front bumper all tubular? The main frame looks like it, but the lighting casts a shadow making it look not entirely round- kinda cool. Active in any clubs? Lemme know if you need a tester ! I will give your products plenty of exposure. Going to the LRNR in Moab this year? You could set up a tent for vendor day, too.

    Cheers!

Yea the nickname came on a wheeling trip to AZ. I cleaned a really stupid line in the rocks and was jokingly referred to as Rock Star from then on. I just kinda ran with it and used it for the new company name.
I used to do a lot of Jeep fab work, mostly for friends, but didn't want anything to do with fighting with 1000 companies, trying to sell $300 bumpers.
I bought a Disco II for my wife and drove it from Chicago to Jackson last year. Was so impressed I sold the Jeep and bought a DI for myself.
Here's a pic of the front during construction along with a shot of the new rear bumper before powdercoating:

Plan is to definitely do the Moab event this coming year if at all possible. What's the date?
As for the testing; Ya never know.
