Ewww, I hate that off camber spot on 7mile. All you can do is look down driver's side and stare at where you are going to end up if you roll. As I recall it is a 27degree sidehill.

Heh, believe it or not, I used to do some 4-wheeling in my old '86 Subaru GL wagon (with 4-low) and in my old '88 Justy. The Justy was pretty amazing, considering it's size, and if it ever got stuck a couple buddies could pick it up and move it. I have a plain old American SUV now, but the 4WD gets me everywhere I need to go these days - through the snow and to the river to my favorite fishing spots. I don't really do the major off road stuff anymore. Great pics from everyone though!

Toyota drivetrains generally outlast the body's.
My FJ40 has WELL over 300k miles on it, the body isn't that rusty for the miles, but it's not straight any more, which bums me out, because I have a relativly rust free tub.

Used to be, haven't been there in a while, as I decided to spend my summers mountain biking instead.

    That's funny.
I started four wheeling when I got burnt out on mountain biking.
    Switched back last summer.

Recovering cruiserhead here, have owned '69 FJ40 bone stock, modded FJ45 PU, and a FJ62 with factory cable lockers.
Was gonna get a troopie but practicality took over and I reduced myself to a ford 4x4 van.

    This one's pretty cool...

    Just found this thread.
Here are a couple pics of my toy:

BTW Jax, I'm currently in the process of starting a new company, RockStar Fabrication, building Rover offroad parts.
I've recently finished a York onboard air system and a front bumper for D1s:

The rear bumper is on the way to the powdercoater.
Next up is a D1 winch bumper and then on to D2 parts.
Plan a full line of bumpers, rails, racks and custom suspension parts.
Hope to be up and running full speed soon.
