    Sure as hell a lot more stable than XP was when it went gold.

    I would stick with vista over xp home anyday.. I'm still running xp pro but thats mainly because the driver support for my laptop is shiat right now, and thats not a microsoft thing thats a dell thing.. I had been running vista on it pre release for about 6 months and liked it alot but got rid of it cause of the support issues with my card reader and some other small things. As free range stated it isn't the memory hog people say it is and has some cool features such as readyboost to improve performance even more.
