I have red Scarpa Denali TT boots, and 2 sets of Flexon tongues that I'm going to try to swap in. The Flexons I have are exactly what Meathelmet had in his thread here (one yellow/red, one black/gray):

I removed the stock Scarpa tongue. The Flexon tongues use a metal wire bracket to mount to the boot shell; the Scarpa tongues use a hole cut in the plastic, which latches in place on the boot shell. Not a direct fit, so some modification required.
Anyone here put Flexons on their Denalis? Tips/ trick/ instructions, before I break out the Dremel and destroy some Flexon tongues?
If I cut a rectangular hole in the Flexon tongues, to mirror the Scarpa tongue attachment to the shell, I'm concerned this will allow moisture into the boot: the Flexon tongue does not look like it will conform to the Scarpa boot shell as well as the stock Scarpa tongue.
