So, as many of you already know, the wife is seven months pregnant. We've talked a lot about continuing our skiing and backpacking with our newborn son and have recieved some very disaproving looks from folks we tell this to. We've been told that it is a VERY bad idear to take him into the BC with us even though we fully intend on choosing much safer and shorter routes when we go. Now don't get me wrong, we are def not going into avi terrain but instead talking about late spring skiing on corn in glacier national park long after the avi's have stopped, followed by our typical summers of two to three day backpacking trips throughout western Montana. I am just curious what peeps think about this. The wife grew up this way and feels its a great idea as do I (her dad has told me stories of baby Ash strapped to his back and giggling with glee as they descend). Any thought and advice would be appreciated. Thanks
