One of our number had a close call....

I'm still waiting for more info but Mr. Powder appears to have been caught in a slide. He's alive. I don't have any info about whether there was any injury involved or not.

    Yikes. Hoping for the best.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Oh, man. I can't even imagine this. I've only ridden a small little slide and managed to stay on top. That sucked. I couldn't imagine this. Good to hear you're alright Mr. Powder!

Oh, and get your butt out to Tahoe mang!

Just talked to Mr. Powder. He's Ok, going skiing tomorrow, declined my invitation to drive up to tahoe for Friday.

The other skier that got pinned to the tree some of you will recognize as Gilbert.

None of the skiers were injured more than just bruises and ego.

    Thank god for that.

You don't mean Gilbert who attended last year's Summit, even though he didn't really appear to be a Maggot, do you?

I don't know if he was at last year's summit, but he was at the SLC summit with Mr. P (and is a frequent traveler with Mr. P on his adventures).

I remember that dude. He didn't have mad skillz but he made up for it with a great attitude. He picked his way down Bad News at Alta even though I suspect that was about the hairiest line he had skied (up to that point anyway). Glad to hear these guys are oK.
