I think I've got a Northwest $35 off coupon sitting around here somewhere.

Also- there's a website you can use to get a certain amount off flights on NWA. Something like $75 off a $400 flight, $50 off a $300 flight and so on. I used it for my holiday flights and it saved me $150. Something like northwestdiscountcoupons.com

thanks so much for the help....I just went ahead and booked my flights...$295 from the east coast, not too bad.

Now its RENTAL CAR time.....do I really need a 4wd car or will a front wheel drive do? I plan on driving to BCC and LCC and Ogden/Snowbasin...

For SLC an AWD is always nice to have but it costs 2x$$ per day as you probably know. I looked pretty hard and $65 to $70 a day is about as low as I could get.

So I reserve both a full size fwd and an SUV and watch the weather. That way I've got a $35 per day option and a $70 per day option and I select the one that matches the weather. (BTW if a freak storm blows in and I'm driving the car and I need to get to the airport I'm pretty much fucked.)

agreed....I was looking for AWD and all I found was a Subaru from Hertz and it was about $600+/week. Cheapest I found was an Xterra...any other good deals out there or recommendations as to whether or not to rent a 4WD or Front Wheel Drive...I know the weather is a MAJOR factor. Like I said I plan on going to both LCC and BCC and the Ogden/Snowbasin area. PC may be an option but I have been there and the interstate is always clear...
