Hestra Pro Form?

Yea, I know its not really cool to ask for a pro form on here, but I do work at a shop, (the buttermilk shop for Aspen Ski Co) and I tried the normal channels first. My boss couldn't track down a proform, or even a rep, although we do sell hestra kids gloves. So I'm not really asking for anything special, just for the normal hookup for a shop employee.

My brother and dad both need new gloves bad, and I was hoping to get em some nice ones for xmas presents. Its a bit late for that, but they'd still appreciate the gloves regardless.

Pretty please?

Feel free to PM me for my email addy, the phone number of my shop, so you can talk to my boss, or whatever. I'm not pulling some scam here. If theres an Aspen area rep, you can also just stop by the Buttermilk shop with some forms.

umm actually you are asking for something special, proforms are supposed to be for you to use...not you to buy and then give away or sell to other people. So no I wont tell you where you can get t hem.

I'd say christmas gifts to a family member are pretty much the same as personal use. Its not like I'd be reselling them.

Have you tried just calling Hestra yourself, telling them where you work and asking for a form? That's usually how it works.

I know several companies that let you proform with the intent of the product being used by the family.

I remember being able to proform two bikes from the same company as long as it was for a family member. I think its up to the company, but I'm sure most dont care.

The purpose of a proform is so employees can get there hands on a product, be happy about the price, and then hopefully sell it to customers and really know about it. If a family member loves the product the employee is still going to sell it well. EX./ "yeah those gloves rock... my bro has a pair and loves them."

Yo Leroy, I would recommend talking to patrol, they definitely have hestra pro form......not that I would know anything about that.

That depends on what "for your use" and "for you and you only" mean - usually they also stipulate on the form that shit you buy is not to be resold, and taken in context it can then mean pretty much anything short of resale is cool.
"For your use" can be construed (and is by most reps that I've come into contact with) in such a way that shit can be bought "for you and you only" to use as a gift...

Like gloves for Leroys fam so he doesn't have HIS day ruined by incessant bitching about cold fingers. He uses the gloves to keep bro and Dad's hands warm so that they stay comfy and he can enjoy his day and keep his sanity.*

*BTW, this analogy works waaay better when it pertains to GF, Wife, kids, etc.

Also - we might want to differentiate b/w shop and pro forms here, as I've seen a totally different attitude by many companies toward proform deals. It would be wise to confer with your rep before buying shit for the fam in any case.

Yea, I think they hate me. Its really funny you ask actually.

Fran threatened to fire me because I thought it was unfair that he was out building a snowman while the rest of us were working our asses off.

They seem like decent guys though, I got nothing against em, especially Eddie.
