I'm trying to get my mom some better ski equipment. She is 5'4 120 lbs 55 years old, beginner intermediate skier. Some dumb ass sold her a pair of expert 170 cm salomon skis. She hates skiing them since she can't turn them and doesn't like to go fast. My dad is nervous about new skis since he is convinced the salomon s800 bindings are the safest money can buy. If i'm looking at k2 sweet luv, volkl attiva ac, and salomon siam n5 or n8, are the bindings that come in these packages as good as the solly s800? Anybody have experience or input on any of these skis?
volkl comes with marker motion lt 10 or 11
k2 comes with marker m2 10
solly comes with z10 ti or 609 ti
I know everyone thinks marker sucks, but would these new markers be better than 4 or 5 year old s800s? At her age, she just wants the safest binding.
