I was in Whistlesr/Blackcomb last January, it was nothing like that. I guess I just hit it at the wrong time. I am jealous to say the least!
Some people see skiing as a sport, to me its a way of life.

    So beautiful.

I am really ready for new snow.

It still came down today -chest deep Selkirk-type snow down Lesser Flute the whole way.

My powder glands have overflowed - my legs have gone 12 rounds with MR Pow and Mr Pow is winning and has more to come.

At 1800m on Lesser Flute on NW slope 24 11 06 - at 12 12 pm. HS is about 205cms on ridgeline lee slope. There's much more on the windloaded NW aspects. No distinct layering detected with coarse probing. No layers till about 135cms - top 135 cms is fist density - insanely light.

I can totally relate to those pictures. Today was PRIME. Spanky's was half tracked with some new snow, it was faceshot after faceshot, a powder orgy, and oh so light.
Some true deep blower everywhere! Kickass day!

The Energizer Bunny LeeLau fades. We found his weakness and it's too many early season back to back days of skiing DEEP powder.
