    how to find ski center?

SO I'm making some kids fat skis, and need to find the center for the mounting point.

one pair 90cm (as measured tip to tail, on the top sheet) and one is 110cm.
the skis need to float so back of "center" is not bad, but not sure what to do to start with.....

I'll post the info later when they are done.

Don't think you'd be too far off mounting boot toe to cord center. If anything it would probably be slightly behind. That's how I mount all my AT skis, and they seem to float pretty well.

I wasn't sure about cord center with a ski that short.

so balance point to boot toe line?

Chord length will vary with twin tip or tail turning up. Probably better to work from running surface and look to mount ball of foot over centre of running surface. If nothing else you could use that method to double check and figure out if it makes sense.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

you can always put boot tip at the balance point center.
